Scott Vandereau

Scott has 17-years of experience as an engineering professional in the power, oil and gas, and chemical industries, with broad experience in project development, including natural gas power plants, gasification projects, chemical plants, oil and gas and renewables.  He was a co-founder and Manager of Process Engineering for Refined Energy Holdings, Holdings (developer of the Power County Advanced Energy Center, a fully permitted coal-to-fertilizer facility).

Scott has performed detailed process modeling on a variety of chemical processes for project development, including coal, biomass and MSW gasification to a variety of end products, waste to energy projects, and natural gas and renewable power projects.  Scott has also managed oil and gas and chemical projects for clients, and designed project layout, siting, and process flow.  He has performed economic analyses for projects, and managed detailed engineering and design through construction.  Scott has been involved in multiple project financings as independent engineer for lenders, developers, and other financial institutions.  His experience also includes contract and permitting reviews, design reviews and financial modeling.  Scott earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1997, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Colorado.
